עליס בליטנטל: "הספר שיכרון עיצובים אכן סוחף לשיכרון חושים"

Hi, Yesterday Art & Theatre Critic Alice Blitental published her report about "ISRAEL FASHION ART 1948-2008" in her blog "Alice in Wonderland " at Cafe The Marker.

Alice praised the album-book saying it fills Israelis with national pride at the phenomenal achievements of some of the country's designers in the international arena. Achievements which were topped by Alber Elbaz who made the distinguished Times's "100 list" and according to Vogue magazine transformed Lanvin into the world's most waned label.
She wrote that the book is a national treasure because it includes the best fashion images and the most comprehensive text about Israel creative fashion designed since its inception. Alice Blitental chose to accompany her report about the book with the enclosed book's image of a Fini Leitersdorf for Maskit gown inspired by Artist Yohanan Simon's painting photographed by Ben Lam. The second image illustrating her article is of top model Tami Ben-Ami in a photo styled by me for "yedioth Ahronoth" & taken by Menahem Oz, in which the model is wearing an halter-neck outfit she had improvised from pareos.
